Wearing Clean Bright White with SIKSILK

Throughout lockdown so far – as I venture onto my 6th week – I’ve found joy in wearing comfy, loose fitting outfits. Most days you’ll find my in comfy joggers and a snuggly hoody, but lets not forget that we’ve had some incredibly lovely warm weather.

We had around two weeks of glorious sun in the North West, which has sadly started to slip away from us this week, although I’m positive it will return again soon (even if not quite as hot, I’m just happy with warm air and no winds).

I realised there was a certain item I was missing from my wardrobe when the sunshiney rays came out: stylish t-shirt dresses. I mean, I have those high fashion, perfect-for-brunching or night-out-with-the-girls shift style dresses. But no looser, sporty style tee dresses, if you get what style I’m trying to describe.

This little wardrobe problem has now been fixed due to my latest addition to my lockdown capsule collection. In these photos, I’m wearing my brand new Tape Collar White T-Shirt Dress from SIKSILK. I’ve heard of SIKSILK for their gym wear and street style, although have never worn their items until this week. I can promise you I’ve been stocked up with some reeeeally nice, high quality clothing from the brand that I literally can’t wait to share!

The t-shirt dress is the first one I’m introducing, as I wore it yesterday before the rain arrived. It’s the brightest, cleanest sharp white colour which looked lovely with my slightly mucky cream Converse. And of course, it matches my white tea cup perfectly!

Just need a little bit more gradual fake tan and then hopefully I can keep pulling this off…

Recently I’ve been gifted a lot of items from trend-led, fast fashion retailers, due to my Instagram page. While some of the items are super pretty, I can’t help but notice the thin material and how the items don’t sit too comfortably on my skin. However, the moment I slipped on a grey hoody and joggers matching tracksuit from SIKSILK, the fit, feel and texture of the top and bottoms felt utterly lush.

I was really really please with the quality from this brand, so prepare to see a number of items coming up from this brand on my Instagram and this blog of course!

But for now, you can see me styling up the Tape Collar T-Shirt dress (which I held off from eating spaghetti bolognaise when wearing yesterday!) over on my Instagram here.
