If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that I recently took you all on an insta story trip with me to Amsterdam with the well-being beauty brand RITUALS. The trip was so so incredible – it was themed around slowing down, relaxing and learning how to practice self-care, all for their annual Slow Down Sessions trip.
When I was there, I decided to vlog my trip, something I need to get back into down a little more! I didn’t want to forget some of the experiences and the places I would visit, so I managed to capture little snippets for film.
I didn’t want to spend my whole trip behind my camera, filming things rather than being present, but you’ll find a little intro to the trip in my latest vlog below:
The team at RITUALS kindly booked us into the new Boat & Co Aparthotel, which was used exclusively for RITUALS for the entire 3 days.
The second day was spent at the A’DAM Tower at their look-out point, giving us stunning views of Amsterdam. I’d never been to Amsterdam before, so the locations were amazing for me. At the A’DAM Tower, we enjoyed meditation sessions, tea drinking workshops, flow arrangement and fragrance education.
I honestly walked away from the day feeling like I need to slow down so much more and take in the beauty of life. The session about meditation and journaling was possibly my favourite one…
Going back to the accommodation we stayed in for three days – It was so so lovely! It’s made up of little studio rooms with walk-in showers, comfy beds and a quirky cute kitchen making a super comfortable stay.
RITUALS kitted the rooms out with some of their incredible products, including the RITUALS OF SAKURA hand wash, hand balm, shampoo, body wash and conditioner. I love this product range, it’s a very cherry blossom, sweet and feminine scent, perfect for indulgent bath and body products.
During the trip, I got to try out and experience so many different types of RITUALS products, so much so I’m going to do a proper haul blog post/on the brand and products very soon, so I can truly share my fave items!
For now, I hope you enjoy the new vlog. And stay tuned for some more RITUALS reviews and posts coming soon…
