Manchester Fashion Week is getting closer! Starting on April 22nd – April 26th at The National Football Museum (used to be the Urbis) 5 days will be dedicated to fashion shows, events and stylish after parties to celebrate fashion up North! As an official MCRFW blogger, I am ridiculously excited for it all to begin! On Tuesday I get to properly meet all the other bloggers taking part for the event, which will be a really nice occasion.
I recently recieved a gift box from the lovely people at Manchester Fashion Week, who had put together some treats from a range of great brands to get us bloggers in the fashion/beauty mode! There was a nice little selection of products for me to work my way through – a lovely surprise!

Amongst the box of goodies, there were some ‘Lustrious Locks’ from Inner Me capsules, which encourage healthy hair growth my containing a concoction of vitamins and active ingredients to promote healthy hair. I have just gone for the chop and had 4-5 inches cut off my hair, so these will come in handy when I decide it’s time to go for the growth again! There was also a product from Redken called Curvaceous Mousse, which when ran through dry or damp hair encourages a tousled, wavy look. I haven’t tried this product yet but I’m looking forward to giving it a go, in hope to get some movement in my hair! Redken are known for retailing salon professional products which deliver exceptional results to hair, so I am really intrigued to give it a try…

A quirky little product I found in my box of tricks also was this Blackcurrant flavour lipbalm from Balmi, which comes in a really cute rubber ball holder, and smells good enough to eat! An uber cool brand who retail lip care, sun care and skin care, this spherical ball of loveliness will no doubt become one of my handbag essentials!

As an absolute make-up product junkie, I was pleasantly surprised and happy to come across a lovely selection of products from Lancome. Lancome have built up such a good reputation across the beauty and cosmetic industry, therefore to me I class the brand as leaders in the skincare industry. However, I have the odd cosmetic product from them but not so much skincare. I recieved a handful of Lancome Genifique eye creams from the brand, which have a nice creamy texture and glide onto the skin smoothly. I have only been trialling these for the past 5 days so I’ll let you know how I find the results! I have also been using the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara from them which was gifted to me from MCRFW, and so far it is fantastic! It provides really dramatic lashes, which look just as big after a long day meaning it lasts from day to night – winner!

The most intriguing of products was the little black box from Accessoryo…hmmm what was in the box? A funky ring! I love unusual, edgy jewellery, and this ring certainly is that! Their website shows that they stock a large range of quirky accessories such as handbags, sunglasses anfd jewellery. Take a look at the fab ring, this is one I’ll be wearing for weekends!…

Lastly, and definitley not least, was a fab selection of FOOD! Those who know me, know I love a good range of snacks, and this I got! The box contained the following…
Popchips Potato Crisps – With less than 100 calories, these crisps are a fashionable favourite! For 69p for a bag, these are one yummy snack!
Hotel Chocolat Sleekster Milk Oblivion Box – A box of treats! Retailing at £22 they contain a range of flavours for all chocoholics. Hotel Chocolat are a real luxury chocolate brand, so if you need to give chocolate as a present, look no further than here!
Not a bad box right? I am feeling very spoilt!…
