After a few months of lockdown and a break from visiting any physcial shops, I was over the moon to hear that one of my favourite well-being and beauty brands, Rituals, has a brand new store that has just opened at intu Trafford Centre in Manchester!
The northern flagship store opened it’s doors on Thursday 25th June 2020, a follow up to last years new store in Manchester Arndale Centre. I genuinely adore the Manchester Arndale store, it’s like walking into a relaxing, uplifting haven, greeted by sensual scents and gives me all the self-love and well-being focuses I need. You can experiment with the hand scrubs and hand creams with the stores gorgeous sink area (when we can go back to normality, as obviously these services are on hold due to the pandemic), and the whole store in general has this calming ambiance.
So it’s great news to see an even bigger Rituals store, with a greater retail offering, open up at the iconic retail and leisure centre in the UK, the intu Trafford Centre.
I was lucky enough to work closely with Rituals last year, therefore I fully understand and appreciate the brands core message. It’s all about learning to slow down and enjoy life’s little moments. To appreciate what is around us, and focus on ourselves and our well-being.
Walking into the brand new Rituals Cosmetics store at intu Trafford Centre, I certainly got that same feeling, with the self-care message coming across strong.
They are the first brand in the world to combine home and body cosmetics, with an extensive product line including body care, scented candles, fragrance sticks, assorted teas, natural skin care and soulwear. From walking about the store, the delightful scent of rich Asian incense guided me around a journey of all the different ‘rituals’ the brand has to offer. Every ‘ritual’ has it’s own stand, so you can browse everything from the new The Ritual of Jing, to my all time favourite The Ritual of Namaste, and beyond.
If you’re new to Rituals, and not sure where to start, the staff are super helpful and friendly at giving customers a tour of the store and talking through each ritual. Each one has a purpose, whether it be calming, sleep or energy, and you have everything from room sprays, candles and diffusers, to face masks, luxury body products and relaxing bath salts.
I also spotted a new luxury hair care range too which looked lovely!
As you can probably see from my images above, what sets this store apart from the Manchester Arndale store is that it allows you to shop their ‘soulwear’ range.
This is made up of dedicated yoga, meditation and home lounging items to encourage comfort and practicality. I actually own a yoga wear set from Rituals which I received last year, which is in a beautiful gold colour and it’s sooooo comfy. The fabric is super soft and of an extreme high quality.
A fantastic new addition to Manchester’s shopping scene, and a place truly worth a visit upon your next visit to intu Trafford Centre.
