It’s true – I love nothing more than indulging in sale shopping. Be it online sales, rummaging through rails in department stores, or trawling market stalls and second hand shops. That feeling of securing a bargain is one close to euphoria… or does that just make me sound like a shopaholic?
Either way, this year I’m going to continue to try and be much more frugal with my shopping sprees. If you look hard enough and stay quite savvy, you really can find a lot of cheaper offers and deals, especially online. I recently did a little bit of shopping over at a site I have just discovered: LoveTheSales.com. If you are a self confessed sale shopper like me, you’ll love this site as it features around 500 of the UK’s biggest retailers and pops them all on one site. So you know that when you log on, your just going to be searching the lowest prices on the web!
Take a look at this gorgeous faux leather skirt I got my hands on from New Look, which I found in the skirt sale via Love The Sales…
I love a good A-Line skirt, and this beauty cost just £18.40 which I think is an ultimate steal!
The second item I got my hands on was a little more of an experiment for me, as I chose this Feather Duster Coat from the Missguided brand. I’m only tiny at 5 ft 3, so I was a little dubious about wearing a coat which literally skims my ankles. However, the fear I had of looking like my own coat drowned me had to be pushed aside as I fell in love with this grey version so much, and luckily, I love it!
I’m a bit of a coat hoarder in all honesty, and love nothing more than scoping out more styles to add to my growing collection, therefore was pretty impressed with this purchase from the Missguided sale!
The shiny new handbag in the photos is also a new sale purchase, but I picked this up from trawling around Debenhams in Manchester Piccadilly during the pre-Christmas sales. A blog post on this will come soon of course…
