Fashion: Wearing In Love With Fashion

No matter what the occasion, I’m a sucker for dresses. Minis, maxis, shift, swing, a-line, strappy, bodycon, high neck, midi, peplum… any dress will do. So to celebrate the New Year (which has just passed four sweet days ago), I opted for a little grey/light blue number, complete with a high neck and a keyhole detail. Yes – keyhole detail. The girl who is usually very traditional and classic with dresses has gone a little ‘trendy’ shall we say. And I even mixed up my usual rule of covering up my legs if my arms are on show, and vice versa. I actually had both bare arms and bare legs on show. Oh how I’m getting much more daring in 2016, and it was only the first day!…

The dress is from one of my newest favourite retailers, In Love With Fashion, more famously known as ILWF. It’s a super girly cute style, with a sweet little swinging skater skirt finish. I wasn’t too sure how the cut out keyhole would look on me as I’m fairly short (didn’t want the cut out taking over!) but I was genuinely loving this dress when it arrived. So much so it became my NYE dress, paired with a silver grey clutch bag and matching open toe heels. Pretty good for £33, as it’s one of those dresses I can keep recycling. I reckon it will look amazing on holiday with a tan.

What did you guys wear for NYE? And have you developed a new love for an online retailer?
