Fashion: EGO Block Heel Sock Boots

I’d class a pair of statement blank ankle boots with a reasonable heel as a staple item. I would say I wear a pair of black heel ankle boots potentially everyday – they just do the job perfectly for work, socialising, going out to dinner… even nights out during the Winter!

I currently own two pairs, and one is in the stage of being re-heeled, the other is starting to get scuffed and look messy, therefore it’s sadly coming to the end of our relationship.

But not to worry – I’ve just got my hands on this brand new sassy pair of black ankle boots from EGO and I literally LOVE them!

As you can see from my photos, the Jameson Block Heel Sock Ankle Boots are more of a fitted style, with a lycra finish so that they pull over the lower leg all snug. They are designed to resemble a ‘sock and shoe boot’ – if you look closely, you’ll see what I mean!

Can you see the styling of a classic court heel shoe, and the boot coming up like a sock? Pretty cool right!

These boots literally mould around my leg but don’t feel too tight, just a nice snug fit. They cost £39 and have a chunky block heel which gives that extra bit of ‘comfort’ so to speak (there’s nothing more painful than a few hours walking around in slim stiletto style heels, lets be honest).

I’ve put a fashion haul video together which includes these boots, as a lot of you were asking me questions about them on my social media last weekend. So take a little watch (have a scroll down to find it…)

I feel I’ll get sooooo much wear out of these sassy boots, and they actually give me something a little bit different than the usual black ankle boot I’ve been wearing for years. Much more stylish, modern and unique.

First experience with EGO, and so far, absolutely loving them! They literally have so so many styles online, you’re inundated with shoe and boot choices. But the best bit is that they are a reasonable priced retailer – I feel £39 for a pair of ankle boots at good quality is brilliant.
