One thing I love about the new Autumn/Winter season is that clothes suddenly seem to get a little ‘smarter’. I do love Summer brights, but I’m much more of a classic dresser. I love black dresses and cream shirts and tailored jackets…that kind of style. Anyway – mentioning my upcoming holiday again – it’s a terrible time to start shopping for ‘Ibiza’ outfits as all the retailers are now stocking autumnal colours and winter styles. When I’m on a shopping mission though, I really am on a mission, and I was determined to find a smart yet sassy dress or playsuit I could wear for my Summer holiday which is from the new AW collections.
Looks like Warehouse had the answer! I was thoroughly impressed with their ‘dresses’ category on the website, and managed to find rows and rows of printed dresses and fitted playsuits that were in deeper, rich colours, yet still had that Summer-air about them. And I realised the below playsuit is a pretty smart option for Ibiza… don’t you agree?
Teamed with some muted grey stilettos and beach inspired wavy hair, I’d say I’m holiday ready! But I also know this cute little monochrome number can carry me over to the Christmas period too! Dare I just mention the ‘C’ word again – sorry…
