Most children dream of visiting the Disneyland parks at some point in their life – so why not make their dreams come true and treat them to the trip of a lifetime? Disneyland Paris has two resorts – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios. Combined, they are huge, with a whole host of restaurants, bars, shops, hotels and more. Walt Disney Studios is much smaller though, with less to offer than the main park. That’s not even to mention all the rides, characters and entertainment! When it comes to buying your family tickets to Disneyland, you need to be aware of your options before committing. There’s one-day tickets, two-day tickets, or even tickets including transport. You can also buy flexible tickets if you’re unsure of times and dates, as that way you’re not locked in. Then consider the offers that are available to you – for example, you can buy one get one free Disneyland Paris tickets in advance. Once you’re booked in, you and your family can get excited about your trip!
Seasonality
Believe it or not, Disneyland Paris is open every single day of the year – even on Christmas day. However, you do need to keep in mind that opening hours often vary depending on the season and special events. Always check the website for the day you want to visit, so you know how long you can be in the park, as well as when you can enter and when you have to leave. Keep in mind that Paris experiences the four seasons – in winter it’s cold and wet, in summer it’s hot and dry. In the coldest winter months, sometimes rides have to stop due to frost and ice. Remember this when planning your trip. You’ll get more daylight in the summer months too but you may be competing with larger crowds.
Accommodation
If you really want to impress your kids and make memories that will last forever, Disney has its very own hotel that you can stay at. However, this is expensive and not necessary for you to have a good time, so don’t feel pressured. There are other options nearby for you to stay, and you could even split your trip up by staying in central Paris where you can do touristy activities in the capital too. Central Paris is about 45 minutes or so away from the park via train. There are plenty of transport link options though.
Two Days
If you want to fully experience the parks, and see all that you can, two days is the recommended amount to visit. As we mentioned, this is a ticket option, and is more effective if you buy a two-day ticket instead of two separate day tickets. Leave no stone unturned at the parks and make the most of your visit!
