In the bustling realm of skincare, it can be overwhelming trying to find products that truly deliver on their claims. When you’re looking for products which work well for anti-aging, it can feel a bit of a minefield.

I’ve been using these products for the past month, and felt it was long enough to come on here and do a review for you. A few weeks into using these (I use them around twice as week, sometimes more if needed), have really helped my under eyes and I can confidently say these patches are just brilliant. Collagen, the holy grail of youthful skin, is often touted as the key to a smooth and supple complexion. Depology’s Matrixyl® 3000 Collagen Serum harnesses the power of this protein, along with Matrixyl 3000 and hyaluronic acid, to support the skin’s natural collagen production. I’m a huge fan of collagen, both consuming it internally and applying it topically. But finding a quality collagen serum which stands out really is a key thing for me.
The lightweight formula of the collagen boosting serum glides effortlessly onto the skin, imparting a dewy glow that lasts throughout the day. With consistent use, I felt like I could see eased fine lines, but more so, improved elasticity and firmness. What’s more, the serum’s hydrating properties make it suitable for all skin types, so I have dry skin but apparently it works just as well for oily skin too. It’s a very versatile addition to my skincare routine, I tend to apply it to lightly damp skin after cleansing, and then finishing with a moisturiser. Or, I’ll apply the retinol on top, and finish then with a night time moisturiser.

Infused with vitamin E and green tea extract, this treatment works tirelessly to smooth away fine lines, even out skin tone, and refine texture.
While retinol can be notorious for causing irritation, especially in those with sensitive skin, Depology has formulated their treatment with care, ensuring maximum efficacy without the associated discomfort. It applies as a smooth cream texture, and there is no tingling when I have used this. I started off using it twice a week, before increasing to 3 times a week. I am super happy with it, and would say it is the best retinol cream for my skin concerns at the moment.
I’m a true retinol fan, I honestly think if you’re starting your anti-aging skincare routine, retinol should feature in a bid to keep skin fresh, glowing, softened and more youthful looking. I don’t feel the need to go up a level in terms of retinol percentage when using this.
