NARS Orgasm 2019 Collection Review

How many of you have tried the NARS Organsm blusher and have fallen in love with it?

If the answer is no, then I could always re-arrange that questions and change it to ‘how many of you have heard of the hype around the NARS Orgasm blusher?’. I feel like I can actually see all the heads nodding in agreement.

Aside from blogging, I’m a bridal makeup artist and the NARS Orgasm blusher has been a staple kit product for a long, long time.

So you can imagine my excitement when I heard that NARS is celebrating the universally flattering Orgasm shade with an incredible four exciting ways to achieve the iconic glow and subtle cute blush shade.

So yes, there are now more ways to get that natural girly flush than via the blusher alone. The brand new line-up includes a sensational Oil-Infused Lip Tint that works to stimulate the lips with a surge of hydration and a wash of the iconic peachy pink hue..

The collection is a limited edition range, available at Selfridges. Lets take a look at each product:

For those who love a glowy highlight, you’re in for a real beauty treat when you see the Liquid Highlighter. This sweet little bottle arouses cheeks with a dewy, illuminating finish.

Then of course, you can’t go wrong with delicate, pretty palettes. The new ultra-sensorial Multi-use Cream Palette and the oversized Blush palette have been designed to deliver the most intense glow, and allows the Orgasm fan the chance to experiment with different textures and shades.

Ready for the ultimate orgasm experience? I bet you are!

Orgasm Blush £31.00

The holy grail product just got bigger! François Nars’ perfect blend of peachy pink with golden shimmer hues is now celebrated with an oversized compact version, exclusive to the collection. I had no idea that 2019 marks NARs 20th anniversary.

The iconic and universally flattering Orgasm Blush achieves the look of naturally flushed cheeks, and I promise you, I used it on so many skin tones. It works a treat every time, always delivering that feminine touch of natural flush.

It’s super easy to layer up too, if you decide you want a more prominent pinch of pink.

Orgasm Liquid Highlighter £25.00

This new formula excited me because I love an illuminating, radiance boosting highlighter. This one features the moisturising Pomegranate Extract, known for its antioxidant and hydration properties.

When I first applied it on top of my foundation (and used a concealer brush to lightly blend it in) I noticed how lovely the featherweight feel was. It blends in super easy and mixed into my long wear foundation easily.

You could add a drop to your daily moisturiser to give your skin a more dewy, subtle glow without makeup. I choose to wear this on the high points of my face for a more targeted, illuminating effect.

Its one of those products where a little goes a long way. You only really need a drop of the product on each higher cheek for a slight strobe effect. Plus, it complements all skin tones – which I expected due to it being in the universal peachy-pink Orgasm shade.

Orgasm Oil-infused Lip Tint £23.00

I’m not usually a lip gloss girl and always choose lipsticks as solids where I can. However, the gel-oil texture of this intrigued me, and I can see this being a much more exciting and enjoyable product for those who usually reach for the gloss.

It’s a very comfortable gel-oil texture, which glides on smoothly and evenly. No sticky feelings or tackiness, just a very smooth finish with a hint of colour and a sheer shine washed over the lips.

Its innovative formula features Raspberry Seed Oil, which is a great addition to give lips that touch of nourishment when wearing this. If you’re going to wear the orgasm pink shade on the apples of your cheeks, this lip tint is the perfect pairing.

Endless Orgasm Palette £46.00

Save the best til’ last as they say! I adore a good palette, and this multi-use palette features six lightweight satin-cream pigments for eyes, cheeks, and lips.

If a product can help me with multi-tasking, I’m all over it. And this was on exception. As the shades are all lightweight cream formulas, they blend onto the skin seamlessly with a soft, velvety finish. I personally enjoy using the pinkier tones on my lips, and the champagne and lightly bronzed shades on my eyelids. I haven’t used any on my cheeks yet, but I tried the cream shade as a highlighter once which worked a treat!.

This palette includes the cult-favourite Orgasm shade and complementary shades to create a variety of looks.

As the packaging is just so breath-takingly beautiful, these products make the most prettiest gifts. I felt so special when I opened up the metallic, mirror effect pink packaging and then held the palettes like they were a treasure from the ocean!

I’m over the moon to add these complimenting products to my pro makeup kit, so that the orgasm blusher has some additional matching products!
