So the girl who always wears black, cream, grey or navy has added some festive cheer to her December wardrobe. Introducing this stunning and sassy little green dress from Closet London – an online retailer specialising in high quality, fashionable and classic outfits.
The dress is question from Closet London is the Green Tie Waist Kimono Wrap Dress which retails at £50. I absolutely adore a good old kimono style sleeve item – whether it be in the form of a cardigan, dress or t-shirt.
So when I spied this dress, I quickly bookmarked it. I was a little reserved over whether I’d pull off the colour at first, but WOW! I can’t believe how well this colour works on blondes…
In my eyes, this elegant wrap dress is a very comfortable outfit perfect for both smart workwear, and those evenings out. You can easily wear it and feel relaxed all day, yet tt can easily be dressed up for a nice dinner out with heels and a bright lip.
I’ve teamed it up here with black ankle boots, in which I put on a faux fur coat and a shoulder bag for my day out in Manchester.
It has a little low back detail towards the back too, just under the neck. So you get the benefits of a higher, rounded neck at the front, and a more sophisticated, low drop back detail to the back, balancing it out a little.
I got so many compliments when wearing this!
So, perhaps this festive shade of green is my new colour? ….
