MiH Jeans – Denim Perfection

Although there are many different styles of jeans, skinny, boyfriend, bootcut, slouch….I whittle it down to just two types. A pair of Jeans, and a good pair of jeans.

Enough of the embellishment, the rips and the tears, the jewels and the studs, the bleach and the buttons. Fashion trends fade, and before you know it those diamonte button coloured jeans you bought a few months ago can no longer carry you into next seasons trends.

That’s the beauty of MiH Jeans. MiH create great fittings, beautifully made jeans that you will wear forever. They have a reputation of being sexy, cool, proper jean jeans, and have a proud place in British denim history.

Established in London in 1969, MiH value top quality and premium design. Chloe Lonsdale, Creative Director, relaunched the company 5 years ago to reestablish its position as the leading British denim label. With its collection of smart fitting and top quality denim, the celebrity following for MiH has been constant, with modern-day style icons Claudia Schiffer, Leighton Meester and Alexa Chung being loyal fans.

The beauty of this brand is that they focus on 12 styles of jeans for A/W10, all of which are simple without the fuss of denim embellishments. All 12 styles go under the names of our fashionable cities, such as The Vienna, The Tokyo,
The Paris, and The London to name a few, and are a mixture of crops, slim slouch, super skinny and subtle bootcuts.

Fresh for A/W 10, the Heritage collection introduces a true vintage bootcut with a silhouette reminiscent of the 70s called the Sugarland, ideal for pairing with your favorite pair of winter boots. This season also sees their first ever denim skirt, The Delancey – named after a famous Camden Street. In regards to denim washes, the Nighthawk jean has launched in a perfect ‘worn black’ wash, a colour which will look sophisticated in the winter months.

My personal favorite is the super skinny Vienna, which comes in the most amazing fine Japanese fabrics and is the softest denim I personally have ever felt.
