Excuse the hashtag crazy blog post title, but there have been a number of events celebrating the blogging world lately which just so happen to have hashtag riddled names! Last week I was very lucky to have been asked by Jordan McDowell – Co-operative Social Media Manager and blogger- to join the panel of A-list bloggers for The Co-operative #onthelist event, which celebrated the Christmas food and electrical departments within The Co-operative, plus providing the blogger guests with expert panels discussing the blogging world.
Myself, Sarah from That Squat Bot and Ruth from The Pink Whisk (and Great British Bake Off fame) joined Jordan on the Q&A panel, followed by a half an hour talk from successful parenting and mummy blogger Slummy Single Mummy. What an evening! It was an incredible opportunity…
We didn’t just touch on the blogging world, but also on careers and inspirations too. It was so lovely to meet all the other bloggers out there too, and be able to put my 5 years experience within running this fashion and beauty blog into good advice.
The Co-operative put on such a fun and interactive event – alongside our blogger talks there were dessert baking masterclasses and lots of food tasting! That means indulging in all the amazing sweet treats; cupcakes, red velvet cakes, caramel cakes, popcorn, chocolate bites and Christmas inspired bakes… I will tell you one thing for sure, The Co-operative have got Christmas sorted this year. From mulled wines, to chocolate sets, to luxury truffles, they are retailing the most fantastic feast foods for festivity!
As you all know, another amazing event I attended the other week was the #MAAfterDark Manchester Arndale party. Following on from my last post, the Manchester Evening News have covered the event and released a fantastic video where you can see us bloggers talking about our dresses and our ultimate fashion tips. Take a look at the feature here.
Here’s just a couple more shots from the evening that round up the event nicely. How amazing is the illustration!
I loved my Manchester Arndale party outfit from BANK. In case you want to recreate the look yourself, the dress and shoes are from the Pink Soda brand, and the bag is from LYDC. And you can still vote for your fave party dress over at the Manchester Arndale After Dark page…
Now it’s time to get you girls into the Christmas party dress mood!
