I have been very familiar with the brand FEEL and their health supplements for a long time, and had heard many a great review about this brand. Because of this, I was always intrigued to try out the brand, in particular their multivitamin, daily biotic and collagen, as these are the three supplements I have always believed to be vital for my health.
Multivitamins are already part of my everyday life. Collagen on the other hand, is one I dip in and out of occasionally, but the results I see when I stick with it are brilliant for skin, hair and nails. Now a Daily Biotic probiotic? This is something I hadn’t given the chance to try before. When I discovered the FEEL Daily Biotic, and how their synbiotic combines 14 different strains of live cultures and soluble prebiotic dietary fibre to help nourish the gut, I was super keen to start trying.
I’m currently pregnant and I was recently given the green light to take this. So, as I wanted to experience the host of benefits for gut and immune health as well as brain function and mood regulation, I began taking these supplements a month ago.

Why Probiotics and Prebiotics for Gut Health?
Your digestive system plays a huge part of your everyday health, but not everyone focuses on it. The research team at Feel have always recognised the significant link between gut health and our immunity, hence launching their Daily Biotic supplement to help nourish the gut and boost immunity.
Especially after the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it has made me much more aware of my immune system and my overall health.
I’ve always been aware that within my digestive system, it is made up of good bacteria, and bad bacteria. Of course, probiotics are the good bacteria, in which studies show that with a boost of good bacteria, you can help balance out the bad bacteria. Studies have shown that if you have an abundance of good bacteria in your system, it will help control the amounts of bad bacteria that you have. With the rise of good bacteria, you’ll start to see improvements across inflammation, food digestion, boosted immunity, improved mood and a clearer mind.
For me, that was the pushing point for me to start taking the supplement – gut inflammation is something I don’t want to suffer with, and I’m sure no one else does, too!
You can read about all the full benefits of the Daily Biotic here, and below, is my personal opinion on how I have found it…

Trying Out the Feel Daily Biotic Supplement
Adding a probiotic to my daily diet is something I’ve been trying to do for a while, but didn’t quite know where to start. However, the Feel Daily Biotic combines 14 different strains of live cultures and soluble prebiotic dietary fibre to help with a whole host of benefits, so it seemed the a very good one to go with as my first try! All the ingredients are displayed over here if you want to have a look at the full list of strains.
I have obviously only been taking these for just over a month, but I have to say that over the course of four weeks, I’ve been feeling great, and I really did want to share this on here as I’m so pleased to have such a positive outcome.
For everyday wellness, and I quote directly from Feel’s website, ‘we have included Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in optimal amounts as they are the most extensive clinically researched ‘friendly bacteria’ believed to be important for overall gut health and everyday wellness1. I wanted the best quality friendly bacteria, and trusted Feel with their research and product development.
For daily digestion support, Feel say that they use ‘soluble fibre in the form of Acacia’, which has been included as a prebiotic in the daily supplement. ‘As well as aiding digestion and combating issues such as constipation, prebiotics work synergistically with the live bacteria cultures (probiotics) as they can help feed and stimulate the growth of beneficial gut bacteria2‘.
Obviously with being pregnant, constipation is something I am no stranger to. And I have to say over this past month, I have significantly noticed a reduction in constipated toilet episodes!

From reading up on the Feel website, they say that over 70% of the body’s immune cells are contained in the gastro-intestinal tract, which makes sense as to why looking after your gut health improves immunity. I’ve had a terrible cough and cold for around 3 weeks so I feel I’ve started taking these supplements a little too late on, however after feeling like I cannot recover from a bad case of influenza, it’s made me assess how I should have been taking better care of my immune system.
I’ve not got the best at eating my recommended portions of fruit and vegetables a day, so I feel like I let myself down with my immune system as my vitamin C levels and other nutrients won’t be as high as they should be. However, this is where I feel I should be taking a probiotic and prebiotic supplement, and where I feel reassured to now be taking Feel’s Daily Biotic.
One of the other interesting aspects to taking the Feel Daily Biotic, is that of course as we know by now, it is formulated to enhance the health and diversity of gut bacteria. And as research into intestinal physiology has shown, our gut actually contributes to our daily mood and brain function. The gut homes a whole load of neurons and transmitters, and even hormones. Apparently, our feel good hormone serotonin is produced in the gut (95%), so it makes total sense when you hear how maintaining a healthy gut microbiome can be very significant when it comes to regulating mood and brain activity.

I can honestly say that since taking and more recently finishing the 30 day supply of the Feel Daily Biotic, I have felt amazing in myself. I mean, I was struck down with the biggest cold which alerted me to my sluggish recovery time, and now I feel positive I’m on the right path to building a healthier and stronger immune system to prevent this happening.
My mind feels clearer, I’m more focused, I have been waking up with more energy and I’ve also noticed bloating improvements after eating late at night. From taking the time out to research into gut health – both via the Feel website and doing my own bits of research – the proven range of benefits of adding a probiotic supplement to your life just makes perfect sense to me. It’s a habit I’ll be continuing, and once I have had the baby in April, I’m going to introduce collagen too! When my skin, hair and nails are looking great, it contributes again to my mental health too.
Would Feel Daily Biotic Work For Me?
Obviously, it is down to the individuals choice about what they take for their health, and I can only comment on the improvements I have seen for myself. But from looking into the supplement, Feel have suggested on their site that ‘they can aid digestive issues such as constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, gas and food intolerances. In addition, emerging research has shown promising results for enhancing skin health, autoimmune diseases47-48 along with mood and brain function15. Antibiotics are known to have an adverse effect on gut flora49 and so it is becoming more widely advised that a consistent intake of live bacteria cultures should be taken in conjunction with antibiotics to restore good gut bacteria50.‘ This does make me feel positive that this particular supplement is a great one to invest in!
Over on the product page for the Daily Biotic, you can find full breakdowns of ingredients, benefits, microbiomes, prebiotics, probiotics, and everything there is to know about the supplements, so you have all the knowledge and information.
