Fashion: Shift Dresses and Casual Wear at Fashiola

Ever have that feeling when your off to do some online shopping, that you just aren’t too sure what it is exactly that you want? If so, join my club. The scenario is that it’s usually payday, I know I need new clothes or even just a couple of accessories for a few occasions coming up, but whether that’s a dress, a skirt/top combo, a new hoody, trainers, nice new bag- sometimes I just don’t know! When I’m in this scenario, I can’t even begin to think what brand I ‘need’ either…

That’s why I love the whole search engine style online retailers, you know the one’s, that let you search from big brands, small brands, medium sized brands, all aimed at different customers and retailing different styles. Designer, High Street, Vintage… sometimes, that’s all I need to give me a kick of inspiration. I’m currently loving Fashiola– an online clothing search engine which searches a large range of UK webshops, from big name favourites like House of Fraser and French Connection, to the small boutiques like Anthropology and Vero Moda.

I recently found myself adding a new, casual vest top to wear alone at the gym, or with a shirt thrown over the top for work, to my shopping basket last time I had a little spree over here. I’m a little bit low on branded sports and work-out wear, but I also like to double them up for work too, therefore I love this grey and white fitted style from the Franklin & Marshall brand. I would really recommend taking a look over at the sport and swimwear categories if you are also looking for a few sports luxe and branded items for fitness, or just generally casual fashion.

At the same time, I found a pretty peach shift style dress from Vero Moda for my friends daytime birthday celebrations. I have to admit, there is that much choice when it comes to dresses on Fashiola that it took me a long time of decision making! I basically wanted one which is fairly laid back and reflects an oversized t-shirt dress, but a little more dressy, if that makes sense?

Anyway, I think this Spring inspired number did the job!

So payday has arrived again, and this month I’m finding myself thinking about a nice new coat for the Spring, some new gym t-shirts, and a pair of ankle boots… I sense a fun fashiola afternoon coming up soon!
