Fashion: Monochrome and Flicks

Three things – Monochrome clothes at Missguided, felt-tip pen inspired eyeliner from Essence, and my new Can SX700 HS camera. I am not too sure which one I am loving the most today.

The T-Shirt I am sporting is to hail the legends that are Naomi, Kate, Cara and Jourdan – the finest models in my opinion! Teamed with black embroidered ‘skorts’ and black tights, I feel like I’m really showing my love for monochrome today. Nice little ensemble from Missguided- they have gorgeous clothes at the moment. They currently have quite a few logo tee’s too that are super cute, including one that highlights all the Kardashian ‘K”s… Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendal, Kylie! How cosy looking is my black furry snood too? This little wonder is something I picked up from BANK whilst I was shopping for the Manchester Arndale After Dark Party (read about this event here incase you haven’t as yet!) as a little extra winter accessory. And now I can’t take it off. The best thing about it is I keep spraying perfume on my neck area when walking through all the department stores this Christmas, so every time I go to pop on the snood is smells incredible!

And finally I have a ‘real camera’ – yes almost 5 years of running whatemmadid.com and I decided to cave in and join the ‘professional blogerati’ and improve my photography. A review will be coming up soon. Thank you all for putting up with my grainiess over the years!

Cosmetic wise, I love a bit of black winged flicks but more so lately I have been getting lazy when applying my liquid eyeliner. However, I was made aware of this felt tip pen inspired product from Essence at Wilkos and now I have no excuse for sloppiness – this is the easiest eyeliner I have ever used to draw those flicks on my eyelids! And at £2.80 it’s a complete steal. One of my new make-up bag must haves…
