Fashion: Doutzen Sports Stories for Hunkemoller

November and December last year were the worst months for me fitness wise. I just completely jumped off the workout band waggon, swapping my gym sessions for Christmas meals and drinks sessions, shopping and socialising, and possibly racked up a total of 4 gym sessions altogether across the two months.

Pretty poor for me…

When January arrived, I turned it around again and I’ve never felt better for it. I always knew I would switch it back up again, as I’m partial to take a dip every now and again, but I did feel like the end of last year was just diabolical and I’m still playing catch up.

I couldn’t really change what had happened, but I could change one thing: my gym kit. For months I’ve been sporting my trusted favourites, but you know when your workout wear just gets as tired and dull as you feel? Well yeah, that happened. Anyway, I’ve managed to head straight into the new year sporting a lovely new gym sweater from the new Doutzen Sport Stories range for

The Doutzen Kroes sportswear collection is fantastic – literally so many pretty and girly workout items that would make great outfits not only for the gym and active sports, but for activities like Pilates and Yoga too. Doutzen Kroe has always been one of my favourite models from the Victoria’s Secret ladies – she’s just absolutely gorgeous and has a figure to die for.

Her collection kind of gives me the inspiration to work out in style, and hopefully look as good as her eventually after putting in some serious work! But we’ll see about that.

My favourite item is the HKMX DK Long-Sleeve Grey Sweater top, which is snuggly and warm to throw over a sports bra and team with fitted leggings. It’s 83% cotton and has a super soft texture, but one of the winning features for me is the super cool logo running down the arms which gives it a little bit of attitude.

Plus, I love grey, and make no secret of it on the blog and on my Instagram!

I’ve teamed it with my grey, black and white USA PRO leggings in these photos, and I’m hoping that this brand spanking new fashionable kit will give me a burst of workout motivation so I can get back to shape in 2018!

The sweater costs £30, and you’ll find other items from the collection at Hunkemoller ranging from £22.50 for a cute sports workout top, to £32 for gorgeous leggings.
