Although it’s still freezing outside, I’ve started to get into Spring/Summer mode with thanks to all the fantastic SS15 press events I’ve been able to attend lately. One of the more recent one’s was the lovely #GetBranded event by Branded Lab PR, which showcased stunning collections at Rosylee Tea Rooms in the Northen Quarter. Manchester’s fashion blogger crowd all turned up for an evening of cocktails, cakes, and pretty Spring trends…
The brands presented to us were the fantastic Naa Naa Clothing, Ko Ko Couture, Jailbird Jeans, Frau Blau and Madam Rage, which all have that vintage, retro feel along with strong feminine prints and hues. I was lost in a whirl of florals and decorative dresses, which has brought on the Summer excitement already!
I’m a huge fan of sportswear, activewear and loungewear these days, so this little matching co-ordinates set was very appropriate!
And these sweat pant style trousers have my name written all over them..
My favourite brand from the event has to be the fashion forward Frau Blau. It was great to discover this brand in more detail, as I wasn’t too familiar with it before. It’s super girly brand with collections in all sorts of themes, such as Incense, Lustre and The Game incorporating little dresses and other wardrobe favourites in a mix of bold brights and subtle hues, all keeping a strong graphical print clash theme running throughout. This is a brand for those not afraid to experiment!
