What is the best whitening toothpaste? I get asked this question every couple of days when I talk about being a beauty blogger, which has brought me today to put this blog post together. I tend to recommend AP-24 Whitening Toothpaste from NuSkin, which has become my go-to product for cleaning my teeth morning and night.
Remember when I said I fell in love with the Lip Plumping Balm from Nu Skin so much that I now sell it? This is exactly what I have done with the toothpaste. I noticed results after around 3 days of using it twice a day – so not overnight like some people ask – more like a few days usage. But now with everyday usage, my teeth are staying much cleaner, brighter and whiter, with that yellow-y tinge fading away.
The above is a simple before and after, the top photo and the below being 6 days apart. I have a massive sin I have to admit: I’m an obsessive green tea drinker. I probably down around 4 mugs a day, and when I’m not, I’m sipping away on a latte or an ordinary English Breakfast tea. So my teeth are always stained with tea, hence the light yellow film they appear to have.
I’m not sure whats so magical about this toothpaste, but I do know that by using it morning and night, my teeth have dramatically improved. It brightens and whitens teeth while fighting plaque formation, and contains fluoride, along with no harmful peroxides. It clearly helps to remove stains and aids in the prevention of cavities too.
In terms of using it in comparison to other whitening toothpastes, I do notice it doesn’t foam up as much. I’ve heard that’s a good thing, because it actually isn’t packed with all the extra additions that make a toothpaste foam. Its just concentrates on packing in all the ingredients to focus on cleaning the stains and whitening the teeth.
I’ve included the ingredient list below, in case anyone wants to have a deep look. I compared this to a popular toothpaste brand, and found the contents were significantly less:
Aqua, Hydrated Silica, Sorbitol, Aluminum Hydroxide, Glycerin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, PEG-12, Sodium Monofluorophosphate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Dimethicone, Poloxamer 338, Poloxamer 407, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Oxide, Flavor, BHT, CI 77891, Limonene.
As I mentioned before, I now distribute this Whitening Toothpaste myself as I really do truly love it. So if you’d like to order one, just let me know via Instagram or email (firstname.lastname@example.org), and they retail for £10.50, postage and packaging included. This is actually a lot cheaper than ordering from NuSkin online as they charge extra for delivery…
