Accessories: Butterfly by Matthew Williamson

The weather is (slowly) getting warmer, the nights are (slightly) getting lighter, and my general feelings towards fashion and my wardrobes contents are definitley reflecting this transition. Does this mean Spring is kicking in? Oh yes it does, and it’s time for an accessory overhaul to reflect the new season that we are so soon-to-be coming into!

Fashion for S/S11 has reunited with an old friend – the bobo babe. You know who she is, she wears a mixture of wood and beads in the form of jewellery,  she is hippyfied with her bold corals and bright turquoises, and she likes to make a statement with a mix of eye catching pendants, embellishments and oversized detailing.

This Spring/Summer, at Butterfly for Matthew Williamson, boho takes on a slightly different feel by mixing with a more ‘goddess glamour’ feel. The capsule collection fuses together a stylish hippy theme with a beach goddess touch, creating a stunning range of statement rustic gold rings, tasselled chains, studded cuffs, friendship bracelets, bold disc detailing and bright jewelled chandellier earrings.

The overall feel of this collection leans slightly towards a ’70’s beach chic’ look, and just from admiring the scrumptious range of shocking oranges, corals and oxsidised golds and coppers, takes my mind straight from the office, and straight to my up-and-coming Summer holidays!

The Butterfly by Matthew Williamson range pieces will look fabulous paired with shimmering beach attire and floaty Summer dresses when strolling across the beach. However, if your like me, Summer is too far away to wait until I can show off these glamorous pieces, therefore I’ll be wearing mine with my Spring time sheer blouses, silky jumpsuits, chiffon dresses and mid-heel wedges! Shop the collection now at the Debenhams Website and Debenhams stores.
