While we’re now entering November, I thought I would share a fragrance gift idea that is fabulous for the women in your life for Christmas 2022. I’ve been a huge fan of this perfume for a good year, and while getting asked often about fragrances for wives, partners and friends, I decided this one needed it’s own gift guide post.
Jimmy Choo I Want Choo is the epitome of luxury when it comes to fragrances, however it sits in a lower price bracket to those of Chanel or YSL. A 100ml bottle can come in at around the £70 mark (although be great to keep your eyes open around Black Friday and Cyber Weekend!) and a 60ml around the £45 mark, depending whats on offer and across different retailers. Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Fragrance
For those who are new to the brand, you’ll find that the brand have put a humorous word play on the brand name, that describes the alluring nature of the scent and the personality of the Jimmy Choo.
The bottle is what we can only describe as a true object of desire. It feels ultra glamorous and looks stunning on my sideboard. I keep all my fragrances in my spare room, nicely presented next to some dried blooms, and this one by far looks like the show-stopping one.
The bottle features a bold gold spray cap with a hammered jewelled effect, with the precious JC monogram logo on display. Through the glass bottle, you can see the soft and ultra-feminine peach tint of the fragrance which looks divine.
‘I Want Choo’ is a powerful oriental floral fragrance that explodes with joy finished with a seductive twist. It’s very girly, which is mainly why I personally love it, and also put it forward as a great one for partners, wives, mums and sisters if they like their girly scents too.

The I Want Choo fragrance has the following fragrance notes:
*Top notes: Mandarin Juice, Velvet Peach
*Middle notes: Red Spider Lily, Jasmin Sambac
*Base notes: Vanilla, Benzoin, Resinoid
Overly it is powerful as well as girly, so the scent is going to stay put for the day, especially with a couple of mists on the neck and wrists. It combines oriental and floral notes which are rich and cheery. Many say it’s seductive, which I can definitely agree with, yet it has a fresher approach that those other popular seductive fragrances which can be quite ‘dark’. This one is sparkling, with citrus top notes of Mandarin Juice which contrasts with velvety Peach nuances, whilst the sensual Vanilla-like notes of Red Spider Lily blend with Jasmine Sambac to reveal a determined and daring allure.
The metallic box with vivid red glitter and the golden JC monogram embodies the glamorous soul of the Jimmy Choo universe. It’s ultra glam as I mentioned before, and definitely one for the women who are adventurous and like the special things in life.
