The first time I came across the Temple Spa Truffle range of products was around 18 months ago at a luxury London event with the brand, which sticks in my head as being overly beautiful. It was the first time I really learnt about the brand, their mission, and the premium aspect of the brand, with their hotel offerings and Harrods position.
However, the products I had been super familiar with included The Power Breakfast Scrub and Take The Day Off cleansing balm, which although I genuinley adored these and each one feels luxe to use, the price points are very reasonable.
Then enters the Truffle range – and this is where that luxury game steps up another notch. The skincare set I have shared here in this article is all about ‘Absolute Truffle set‘ (although I have touched on another cheeky little stocking filler too as couldn’t not mention it!) which is what I’d call a transformation skincare set.

Before I explore the gift set, I’ve shared some images of Temple Spa’s The Smooth Talking Lip Trio – a lovely trio of lip treats that will soften, smooth and add colour to your pout. My lips are currently dry as anything from being pregnant, so with this gift set, although I’s sharing it here as a thoughtful stocking filler or gift for a friend/family member this Christmas, I’ve kept this set for myself to try and prep and perfect this dry mouth! It doesn’t help that I’m currently staying in all the time, with central heating on too.
The gift set retails at £19 and comes in a beautiful girly box, containing three hero products to make dry flaky lips a thing of the past. I’ve genuinely loved all of the Christmas gift sets from this brand this Christmas 2020, but I did decide to leave the very best til last. For something a little more ‘wow’ and potentially a gift that could transform a ladies skincare regime, the Absolute Truffle boxed gift is definitely my hero one of all the Temple Spa gift sets.
One of the terms Temple Spa use to describe this set is ‘uber luxe’, and I couldn’t agree more, so I’m copying of them and using the term uber luxe to describe this collection for anyone who asks me for gift ideas that offer that something special.
The neutral, deep brown coloured gift box is home to a collection of award-winners that all feature the Black summer truffle ingredients, along with champagne, cocoa and strawberry extract which are all rich in antioxidants. I find that now I’m in my thirties, when I’ve tried this before its lovely for smoothing those pesky lines around my eyes and mouth. More so, it feels like velvet when massaged to the skin – a real treat!
