Alid’s First advent Calendar Launches

The Aldi Lacura advent calendar is for 2021, and personally I feel extremely happy about this. I LOVE Aldi, and I have never had a bad word to say about their versions of bigger branded items. Aldi’s low price points and high quality products is what has made Aldi grow in popularity over the year… whether it be food, drink, beauty, hosuehold, or that famous ‘middle aisle’!

If you’ve ever shopped other beauty advent calendars before, you’ll know that the majority of luxury advent calendars retail for over £200. Now Aldi’s glam-looking version is surprisingly affordable, coming in at under £55. That’s the type of price we’re OK with taking a beauty gamble on!

The advent calendar is filled with products from Aldi’s popular beauty range, Lacura. I remember when their night cream surged in popularity a few years back an it became a sell out! I’ve also been a fan of their version of the Pixi Glow Tonic, but other than that, I’m quite a newbie to the Lacura products.

When I browsed the ‘middle aslise’ the other week, I did spy what had been a sold out beauty box that Aldi launched recently. It looked like a great beauty box packed with products at a low price of around £11 if I remember right. By hearing that the box was such a hit, I have every expectation that the calendar will be too!

The calendar features a very aesthetically pleasing marble print inside, with each of the 24 drawers filled with a different Lacura product, all of which are cruelty free. There’s a huge variety of beauty and skincare products included, ranging from an eye cream, a face cream, a retinol and collagen serum, volumising mascara and bronzer.

You also get a variety of also some lovely winter essential products, such as a hand cream, lip balm, candles and a sleep spray. I have to say, a calendar that offers a wide variety behind each door is always a winner. I’ve seen a fair few over the years that give me two different moisturisers and countless amount of bath products.
