UGG Boots Get Dressed Up For A/W10

Me and UGG boots have a funny relationship. It wasn’t love at first sight, it kind of ‘developed’ over a long period of time. For those who know me will know that my style is quite girly and dressy- I’m hardly caught in a pair of jeans let alone a pair of suede chunky boots. In fact it was only last year I caved into the UGG crazed world and purchased my first pair of UGG’s.

So when I got invited to an UGG press party not so long along at the Manchester store, I was intrigued to see what the new A/W 2010 collection would be like. I’d been told the brand was changing, that UGG were going more fashionable, with lots of new styles which would even impress those anti-UGG folk.
After touring the store and viewing their new collections, I have to say I was very impressed. You name a style, and UGG have created it. Heels, wedges, clog style, wellie style, sneaker style, slipper style…. every style possible has been worked into the classic UGG boot to give a range suitable for all.

With me leaning to the more feminine styles, I developed a love for the ‘Fashion Collection’, which included a line up of well-heeled boots such as Rosabella (a studded suede boot) Maxene (a shiny leather wedge heel boot) and my personal favorite Lynnea (clog-style studded leather boot).

UGG Lynnea Boots

These boots have been created with A/W 10’s hottest footwear trends kept in mind, working the clog shape with stud detailing and a sheepskin lining for that warm and cosy UGG trademark.

UGG have also designed new styles with last years hideous weather conditions in mind. Their new range of quality weather boots feature well gripped soles, waterproof leather and built-in socks which makes them ideal for warm, dry feet.  They have also launched an impressive Heritage collection, which features this pair of UGG boots-with-a-difference for the ultimate attention-seeker…
It seems that UGG have experimented with every development possible to revive the classic UGG boot style, and to give the brand a more fashionable touch. There is a lovely combination of buckles, rubber toes and pocket details added to each boot to give each style their own personal stamp.

So I guess you’re wondering which UGG boots I decided to take home with me? Well it was obvious I was going to snap up the prettiest pair of UGG’s available, which meant that the Lynnear boots in Chestnut Leather were bagged up and whisked away!
