Lifestyle: Whitehaven Beach, Australia

Just a little travel related post on the blog today about one of the most beautiful places I was fortunate to visit a couple of weeks ago when touring the Eastern Coast of Australia. A few of you have possibly heard of Whitehaven Beach, which is visited when sailing The Whitsundays – an amazing ship experience which is a really popular travel adventure over in Australia. I stayed at Airlie Beach and booked onto the New Horizon sailing experience for a 2 night and 3 day package, which included a stop off at Queensland’s most amazing beach- Whitehaven. It is currently voted the worlds third most beautiful beach, so I’m very lucky to have visited it!

I have never seen a beach so beautiful before, with crystal clear aqua waters and views for breathtaking. When you visit the beach, you instantly feel relaxed and taken in by the views, it has this peaceful presence even though it’s usually fairly busy with being a tourist attraction. We spent a couple of hours just relaxing at Whitehaven, also having a little walk around the bush land surrounding he place and swimming in the sea. Only negative from me is the fact I had to wear a stinger suit to protect me from the stinging jelly fish in the sea – not the most fashionable look I’ve gone for!

Here’s some snaps from my visit to Whitehaven. Apologies if this has made you a little bit jealous! But I had to share…
