Created and developed by former chief chemist and MD at MAC cosmetics, it’s no surprise that Cover FX products have become some of the most-reached for makeup. The entire range is cruelty-free and vegan (with the exception of MintTint FX & MintGlaze FX).

Arguably one of the most popular vegan makeup brands, Inika has tonnes of choice from liquid foundations to highlighting creams and super-pigmented lipsticks. I have a lot of Inika foundations, primers and eyeshadows in my pro makeup kit for my weddings.
Keep an eye out for one on my bridal faves: a Liquid Foundation with hyaluronic acid, which gives dreamy coverage and hydrates the skin. Win, win.
Their BB cream is a new one on my list too..

Last year, Kat Von D announced plans to reformulate her entire cosmetics line to ensure every product was vegan. While the process takes a while, she already has a section of her website titled #VeganAlert which is full of products that do not contain any animal products or by-products, and have not been tested on animals.
Look out for The Lock-It Foundation – a foundation guaranteed to stay put ALL day long.
There is a brilliant bargain vegan beauty brand called B. which is exclusive to Superdrug, therefore it’s super purse-friendly. Their website explains that B. “does not contain any animal derived ingredients or by-products, even beeswax which can often be found in mascara.”
A firm hero product I’ve found is the contour kit – brilliant pigments and a great one for the handbag/makeup bag.
Illamasqua products have NEVER and will NEVER be tested on animals and are proudly vegan.
They have always stood firm on core principles that define their position in the beauty industry and wider world. They do the most luxurious primers, from the Radiance Veil to the Hydra Veil, which are amongst the best sellers, along with intensley pigmented Beyond Powders and Eyeshadows.
