So how did you guys spend Valentines Day? Last week, I had the pleasure of spending the run up to Valentines Day with one of Manchester’s most stunning fashion and occasionwear brands, Forever Unique.
I’ve been a huge fan of Forever Unique for soooooooo long. I remember hearing about them at least ten years ago, and always keeping an eye out on their premium dresses for when I had any extravagant occasions coming up (which isn’t too often, but from time to time my job takes me to some fancy events!).
More so, when the brand invited me to attend their event which was starting at their head office, and then moving onto Menagerie, I was keen to hear more about the brand in terms of learning more about the collections and trends.
Before the event, I was kindly sent a brand new dress to wear to celebrate Valentines Day with the team at Forever Unique and a handful of social media influencers. In the photo above (and down at the bottom), I’m wearing the Nude Embroidery Lace Mini Dress with Frill Skirt – I decided this was an ideal one to wear because it will take me through to the Sprint/Summer 2020 season too!
A little bit of fake tan on the legs and a cream or grey coat thrown over the shoulders, and this dress is literally perfect.
It’s the first time in years that I’ve owned a dress from Forever Unique, in which I wanted to stress just how good the quality it. In a world where we’re inundated with fast fashion retailers, I’ve become used to the poor quality of trend-led retailers who offer outfits for under £30.
As I’m trying to get so much more wear out of my clothes these days, it’s not really ideal for me to be shopping that way. I know for a fact this dress is going to wash and wash and wash and still look awesome after a few wears.
Honestly, just walking around the showroom that the brand set out was like being in girl heaven. The dresses and outfits are literally insane – the most prettiest, feminine designs, all beautifully made with embellishment, intricate detailing and ‘wow’ prints.
If you can see on the photo above, there’s a kinda off-should fan sleeved dress in black and white with pops of orange. I was obsessed with that number! It’s so different, cut to a gorgeous shape and with the most elegant sleeves.
And of course, if you love a pop of colour, Forever Unique have gone to town on the bright colour popping pinks! However, no matter how bright the shade, each piece looks classy and luxury.
I have to say I was wondering around the glittering gold rail above a little too often though, too. I desperately need some more lavish events to be attending -asap.
Also, a huge thank you to The Manchester Platter Company for the incredible food they laid out ever so beautifully. The most instagrammable foodie displays that I think no one dared break into! Always one who loves to eat, it didn’t take me too long to take a cracker and scoop it up in the hummus though. Once I broke the layout, I think everyone else felt they could go ahead and break into the fabulous spread!
After hearing the brand talk about their new collections, best sellers and future plans for Forever Unique, we headed to Menagerie for a delicious three course meal.
Such a lovely Valentines Day event with some of the most lovliest ladies.
