Fashion: Dressing up with Everything Five Pounds

So today’s post isn’t the first time I’ve shared with you all one of my favourite discoveries: Everything 5 Pounds. I’ve featured this online on my Instagram before, because  literally can’t get enough of the brand.

In a nutshell, they retail end-of-the-line items from all your big High Street retailers: Topshop, Boohoo, Missguided, Miss Selfridge and New Look, to name a few. But of course, as the name suggests, everything costs £5. Yep, just £5!

So on my recent holiday to Lanzarote, I did a little bit of an Everything 5 Pounds shop, and got this gorgeous burnt orange midi dress. The tags shown me that it was in actual fact a Missguided item, which makes sense, because it looks so much more pricey than a fiver.

It’s a very fitted, bodycon styled dress, which did cause a few problems when considering how to wear this so it actually flatters me. It’s also slightly ‘plunge’ cut and has a low back, which made me consider those stick-on ‘no bras’ what don’t shop up on those low cutting dresses,

And as for the knicker situation? Either seamless panties (from Primark!) or waist hugging shape wear to keep that tummy tucked in! You can read some reviews about pull-me-in shape wear like here.

I also purchased a super cute tennis style white dress, complete with mesh panels. I don’t usually wear white, but with a holiday tan and when in a sunnier climate, it’s totally fine to rock out the bright white!

This dress was of course £5 from Everything 5 Pounds, except I have no idea where this item it originally from.

So if you’re off on your holidays this Summer and still need a couple of bikinis, dresses or little Summer tee’s, I’d head to Everything 5 Pounds for a few extra items. No need to spend much at all – my haul came to £35 and I bagged myself 7 stunning items.
