Fashion: Amelia Lily X Jane Norman Collaboration

I’m not sure about you, but I’m a bit of a sucker for reality TV, which is why the name Amelia Lily is more than familar to me when I heard about the latest celebrity fashion collaboration. I’ve recently watched her in the latest stint of Celebrity Big Brother, and I thought she seemed like such a lovely person. She was one of my favourites back in the day on X Factor too – her singing voice is insanely good!

So, I’ve managed to get my hands on two key pieces from the AM x JN (Amelia Lily x Jane Norman) fashion range, both of which I’m super happy with…

The first is this cute Denim Zip Bodycon Dress, which I’ve layered up here in these photographs over a baby pink roll neck top. The beauty of a dress like this is that you can wear it alone, or with a blazer over it, and keep legs bare with a pair of high heels and you have a spot on party outfit. Or, you can do what I did and layer it up and add tights, and wear to work in the office.

It features a zip front fastening, two pockets and a scoop neck, and this dress is perfect for wearing over a tee for a cute casual look too. It costs £29, and feels a really good quality denim.

I also found the perfect fitting black trousers, which may sound extreme, but I really struggle to find a good fitting pair of black trousers that don’t look like a cheap, stretchy pair. I like all my clothes to be fairly fitted, but my black skinny jeans seem to bag around the knee, then sit too tight around the bum (yep, booty problems!). On the other hand, leggings just don’t look smart enough, especially when going to work.

I tried on these Corset Waist Trousers, thinking I wouldn’t overly be obsessed with just a black pair of trousers, bu these just literally mould to the shape of my legs! They are the perfect skinny fit, but unlike other polyester trousers, they are actually thick textured and again have that high quality feel. For £25, you get a little bit of detail with the corset style waist with silver eyelet detailing, giving that touch of versatility.

Here, I’ve teamed with a tucked in denim shirt and heeled boots, but they’d look fabulous with a printed blouse or cami for a stylish and sassy evening look.

I saw an absolutely gorgeous camel wrap coat on the website too, its soooooooooo lovely with its oversized collar and waist belt features, but sadly they didn’t have my size, but I’ll be keeping my eye on it!
