Fashion: A Bikini A Day

If you’re wondering why there was a very short break on the blog, it was because I was lucky enough to jet off for a week to Puerto Del Carmen, Lanzarote.

If you follow me on Instagram however, you’ll have known exactly what I got up to – and shooting pictures of my swimwear collection was one of the main activities!

So today’s blog post is to showcase some of instagram photos from my travels, wearing some of my favourite bikinis and swimsuits. I’ll give you a heads up now: my collection is very New Look heavy, and it wasn’t even planned! I’ve obviously been spending more time than remembered in-store and online throughout this year when I’ve purchased new items…

So the first one above is a lace up detail swimsuit with a low back, from New Look. It’s a slight plunge design, and cost £24.99…

It’s one of those classic black swimsuits I’ll never get board of wearing!

However, this trip in particular lead for me to look at a bit of colour, as I’m usually always wearing black. So I shopped this beautiful pastel floral design again from New Look. It was has touch of neon which makes it a brighter, bolder style for me.

The one below is a crop top style, which I thought could be a nice addition to my other swimsuits and bikini versions. It’s a black mesh design from New Look once again, and I got so many compliments wearing this!

And now for a touch of colour again! This pretty pastel colour block version is -surprisingly – not from New Look and is a Boohoo purchase. The thing I really love about this style is that its actually padded too, so gives me a bit of a body boost and adds to a flattering shape.

It’s a super girly style, and I actually felt quite shapely and feminine wearing this one on the beach.

I do love a good fitted and pretty style bikini. Try SexiMinx for a selection of must-have bikinis

And last but not least, here is a super colourful version again from – wait for it- New Look of course. This one isn’t new unlike all the others, I actually got hold of this fun style last year. It’s a little wackier than my usual under stated fashion, but for a sunshiney holiday, it plays the part well!

Now its back to reality, where there’s no more bikinis, and my #ootd is literally a pair of jeans and a shirt! Ah well… I head off on a Greek cruise in September so I’ll be sure to dig these beauties out again.
