Fashion: F&F Denim Challenge

There’s one fashion rule that never goes out of fashion, and that is to wear your denim! No matter what trends are currently ruling the catwalks or the High Street, denim appears in every collection, usually in the form of jeans, but more recently, jeggings, leggings and shirts. So when I was contacted by the fashion team at F&F asking me to show them how I would style my denim from F&F, I thought I would take part in the denim challenge and showcase how I style mine up.

A few pointers about my personal style – as much as I love creativity, I am a simple and classic girl. I love a black dress just as much as I rock a white power shirt, and my jeans are always fitted and skinny. So I selected two pairs of denim jeans from the F&F range in two different shades and styles which can give me two different looks. The first pair are the F&F Figure Enhance Skinny Jean in Blue, £20. These fit seamlessly – no gaps at the waist and a lovely snuggly fit all down the leg. Great to wear for work, I paired these up with a Peplum Drop White Shirt also from F&F. I also tucked the shirt neatly into a pair of F&F Limited Edition Bum & Tum Skinny Jeans. I cannot tell you how much I love a pair of fitted, skinny, high waisted jeans!

For my next look, I decided to do try the dreaded fashion dead…. oh yes… DOUBLE DENIM! Not a look I have ever gone for before, but seeing as the gorgeous F&F Bum and Tum Jeans are black and very nicely fitted, I decided they would surely look OK teamed with an oversized pale denim shirt also from F&F. Yes, No? I will let you be the judge, but I am actually quite pleased with myself for braving stepping out in double denim and making black denim work with a nice pale wash denim shirt! Again, excuse the no make-up look. Possibly the first time I have gone bare faced on the blog!

So the first look is a very smart, almost geek-chic look, and the second I have relaxed it a little. I suppose that’s the great thing about F&F’s range of denim, it is so versatile you can literally make it work for any look you like.

So how will you be wearing your denim?
