Just how pretty are these shiny rose gold makeup brushes? These are one of my newest possessions, from a company called Beau Belle which I discovered on Instagram. I mean – just look at them! They are probably the most Instagram-able tools I own.
I used them for the first time last week whilst out on a bridal makeup job, in which I had three ladies to make beautiful. This Limited Edition Rose Gold Makeup Brush Pot comes in a handy white carry pot, in which you just un-clip and twist the lid off, revealing all 10 essential brushes.
One of the most important things for me as a makeup artist is that I’m using the right tools, but I also don’t want to spend a fortune replacing my brush kit either. This set of 10 professional brushes retail at £59.95 (with the case), and with that comes the following:
- Powder Brush
- Stippling Brush
- Angled Contour Brush
- Foundation Brush
- Angled Brow Brush
- Large Shader Brush
- Angled Shading Brush
- Blending Brush
- Shader Brush
- Tapered Blending Brush
I always carry a huge amount of brushes and tools with me when I’m out on a makeup job, but technically speaking, if I was to turn up armed with just these 10 brushes, I’d have everything I need to sculpt and create the most beautiful face. Mainly because they are excellent quality, with each doing its job perfectly.
The synthetic fibres are soft and work with premium makeup products well, but overall, I especially enjoy using the Powder Brush (as its super fluffy and great for dipping into my Laura Mercier Candle Glow Powder and setting makeup) and the Stippling Brush (because I swear by these so much more than the flat foundation brushes).
The stippling brush can pretty much be used for all types of foundations, and even airbrush make up too. Obviously, this luxury makeup application is lightly sprayed via airbrush to the skin, but you can stipple over if you see any bits which need further blending. You can find out much more about the best airbrush makeup here.
I find that with this set, I only really need to use the Blending Brush and the Shader Brush on my eyelids to create soft, dazzling eye looks. For my latest makeup job, I used these brushes with my original Urban Decay Naked Palette for eyes, and I produced some gorgeous shimmery bronze looks. Soft, natural and perfectly blended.
Alongside these brushes doing the job, I literally can’t stop looking at them and may have shared them on my own Instagram page numerous times too of course! They also look fab on my dresser table, although I’m trying to save them for client use rather than myself.
That being said, I did use them for my face and eyes on the below photos, and I found them just as easy to use on myself as I do clients. The angled contour brush lets me create quite a striking bronze contour, simply by just sweeping underneath my cheekbones where the shadow naturally hits.
They also make a great gift if you have a beauty loving friend too!
